EXPANDING LIFE SAVING TRANSPORT
For years, PetSet helped give homeless animals a second chance by transporting dogs and cats from overcrowded Texas shelters to trusted rescue partners in other parts of the country, where they had greater opportunities for adoption.
Since launching this effort in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, PetSet helped transport thousands of animals to safety—relieving pressure on local shelters while connecting pets with communities ready to welcome them.
Passing the Wheel
As PetSet continues to focus our resources on addressing the root causes of animal homelessness, we donated our transport vehicle to K-9 Angels Rescue, a longtime animal welfare partner that has taken over its operation.
The handoff allows the vehicle to stay on the road doing what it was built to do: helping more animals reach safety and ultimately find loving homes.
It’s another example of how PetSet invests in solutions that strengthen Houston’s animal welfare network and create lasting impact beyond our own organization.
